George Foreman is an American former professional boxer, widely regarded as one of the greatest heavyweight fighters of all time. Born in 1949, Foreman rose to prominence after winning a gold medal at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics.
He captured the world heavyweight title in 1973 with a dominant victory over Joe Frazier. Known for his immense power, Foreman lost the title to Muhammad Ali in the famous "Rumble in the Jungle" in 1974.
After a period away from the sport, Foreman staged a remarkable comeback in his 40s. In 1994, at the age of 45, he regained the world heavyweight title by knocking out Michael Moorer, becoming the oldest boxer to ever win the championship.
Following his retirement from boxing, Foreman became a successful entrepreneur, most notably with the "George Foreman Grill." He is also a minister and author, known for his affable personality and inspirational story.
