Dr. Nick Riviera is a recurring character in the animated TV Show The Simpsons. He is a quack physician of questionable competence and ethics.
His first appearance was in the season 2 episode "Bart Gets an 'F'", which aired October 11, 1990. Often identified by his catchphrase "Hi, everybody!", which is usually followed by an equally enthusiastic "Hi, Dr. Nick!", by the people around him, Dr. Nick's medical credentials are, at best, dubious.
Dr. Nick is voiced by Hank Azaria. He frequently appears offering cheap and dangerous medical procedures, often with disastrous results. His medical knowledge seems based on infomercials and hearsay rather than formal training.
