Kavar was a revered Jedi Master during the Mandalorian Wars and the Jedi Civil War eras of the Star Wars Legends continuity.
A skilled healer and strategist, Kavar served on the Jedi Council prior to the Mandalorian Wars. He, along with Jedi Masters Revan and Meetra Surik, disobeyed the Council's orders and intervened in the conflict, believing it was necessary to protect the Republic. Kavar's motivations were rooted in preventing the Republic from falling into chaos.
Following the Mandalorian Wars, Kavar returned to the Jedi Order. However, the Council remained wary of him and the other Jedi who had participated. As the Jedi Civil War ignited, led by Revan and Malak, Kavar ultimately went into hiding on the planet Onderon. He sought to heal the wounded planet and contemplate the events that had transpired. He was later confronted and ultimately defeated by Meetra Surik.
Kavar's legacy is complex, marked by both adherence to the Jedi ideals of healing and compassion, and defiance of the Council to pursue what he believed to be the greater good.
