Lord Scourge was a prominent Sith Lord during the era of the Old Republic. He was a Pureblood Sith who initially served under Darth Revan and Darth Malak.
After Revan's fall, Scourge joined the service of the Sith Emperor, Vitiate. He became the Emperor's personal executioner, ruthlessly eliminating any perceived threat. He was known for his cold efficiency and unwavering loyalty.
Scourge's allegiance to the Emperor began to waver as he witnessed the Emperor's cruelty and devastating plans for the galaxy. He foresaw the rise of a powerful Jedi Knight, later revealed to be the Jedi Exile Meetra Surik, and then a Jedi Knight destined to stop the Emperor. Scourge eventually betrayed the Emperor to join the Jedi.
He aided the Jedi Knight against Vitiate, sacrificing his own Sith powers and immortality in the process. His knowledge of the Sith and the Emperor proved invaluable, even though his motivations were complex and viewed with suspicion by many.
