Detective Jake Peralta is a fictional character from the NBC/Fox police procedural comedy television series Brooklyn Nine-Nine. He is portrayed by Andy Samberg.
Peralta is a talented but immature detective at the fictional 99th Precinct in Brooklyn, New York. Known for his pranks, movie references, and unorthodox approach to solving cases, he initially clashes with the precinct's new, by-the-book captain, Raymond Holt.
