Joe Exotic, born Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage (formerly Schreibvogel), gained notoriety as the central figure of the Netflix docuseries *Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness*, which premiered in March 2020.
He is a former zookeeper, businessman, and convicted felon. He owned and operated the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (G.W. Zoo) in Wynnewood, Oklahoma.
