Vampire, also known as Marceline Abadeer, is a major character in the animated television series Adventure Time. She is the Vampire Queen, a millennia-old half-demon, half-vampire.

Marceline isn't a typical blood-sucking vampire. She subsists by consuming the color red from objects rather than human blood. Her past is shrouded in mystery, but flashbacks reveal a complex history spanning across centuries of the Land of Ooo's development.

Her relationship with the Ice King, formerly Simon Petrikov, is particularly significant. He acted as a protector to her during her childhood after the Mushroom War.

Marceline is portrayed as independent and rebellious, yet she also struggles with emotional vulnerabilities stemming from her long life and experiences. Her musical talent, expressed through her electric bass guitar, is a central part of her identity and a means of processing her emotions.
