Malice is a Marvel Comics supervillain primarily associated with the X-Men and Alpha Flight, existing primarily as a psychic entity.
Originally, she was a mutant, but her powers were psionic in nature allowing her to control others. Over time, her physical form diminished, and she transitioned to an energy based being that could posses others.
Her first significant appearance was as a member of the Marauders, a team of mutant assassins, employed by Mister Sinister. Her trademark during this time was her spiked choker necklace.
Malice's primary ability is psychic possession. She can merge her consciousness with another being, granting her control over their actions and powers. She often targets powerful mutants to amplify her own capabilities.
One of her most notable host bodies was Polaris (Lorna Dane). While possessing Polaris, Malice enhanced Polaris's magnetic powers and frequently clashed with the X-Men.
Malice has been seemingly destroyed on multiple occasions, only to reappear later. She is a dangerous and persistent threat, driven by a desire for power and chaos.
