Mr. Satan, whose real name is Mark, is a prominent character in the Dragon Ball franchise, particularly during the Cell and Buu Sagas. He is presented as a world-renowned martial arts champion, celebrated as the hero who defeated Cell, despite Gohan being the true victor. His fame is largely built on misunderstanding and his own boastful nature.

Though lacking the superhuman abilities of the Saiyans and other powerful characters, Mr. Satan is a skilled martial artist in his own right. He possesses above-average strength and agility compared to ordinary humans. His greatest strength, however, lies in his charisma, showmanship, and ability to rally public support. He leverages these traits to navigate dangerous situations and often unintentionally contributes to the Z Fighters' successes.

Despite his inflated reputation, Mr. Satan's heart is generally in the right place. He is kind, compassionate, and fiercely protective of his family, especially his daughter Videl. His relationship with Majin Buu softens the powerful creature, ultimately playing a crucial role in Buu's eventual defeat and redemption. While often comic relief, Mr. Satan demonstrates courage and becomes an unlikely, yet valuable, ally to the Z Fighters.
