Nori is one of the thirteen Dwarves who accompany Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf on their quest to reclaim Erebor from the dragon Smaug in J.R.R. Tolkien's novel, The Hobbit. He first appears in the book when he arrives at Bilbo's hobbit-hole, uninvited, for tea.
Within the company of Dwarves, Nori isn't prominently distinguished by unique skills or personality traits, but he is frequently mentioned as being involved in foraging and scouting. He is the brother of Dori and Ori.
