Cyclone, also known as Maxine Hunkel, is a superheroine in the DC Comics universe. She is the granddaughter of the original Red Tornado, Abigail "Ma" Hunkel, an honorary member of the Justice Society of America.
Maxine's metagene was activated after being kidnapped by T.O. Morrow and injected with nanites. As a result, she possesses the power to manipulate wind and air currents, enabling flight, creating powerful gusts, and even generating sonic blasts. She also has some level of control over sound.
Cyclone first appeared in *Justice Society of America* #1 (2007). She joined the new Justice Society of America, bringing a youthful energy and perspective to the team.
