Biography:
The Plutonian, a central figure in the Boom! Studios comic book series Irredeemable, debuted in issue #1 in April 2009.

Formerly the world's greatest superhero, revered and trusted implicitly, the Plutonian inexplicably turned against humanity. He unleashed his immense powers, which included flight, super strength, and energy projection, to devastating effect, becoming a terrifying villain.

His motivations for this drastic shift were a key mystery driving the narrative of Irredeemable, exploring themes of power, responsibility, and the potential for even the noblest beings to succumb to corruption. His past actions, both heroic and villainous, were frequently revealed through flashbacks, providing context to his current state.
