DJ Ashba, born Daren Jay Ashba, is an American musician, guitarist, songwriter, producer, and graphic designer. He is perhaps best known for his tenure as the lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses from 2009 to 2015.
Prior to joining Guns N' Roses, Ashba founded the bands BulletBoys (early years) and Beautiful Creatures. He later formed the band Sixx:A.M. with Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx and producer James Michael, achieving significant success with their albums and singles.
Beyond his guitar work, Ashba is also a skilled graphic designer, running Ashba Media, Inc., a design firm. He has created visuals and branding for various companies. Ashba's career demonstrates versatility across several creative disciplines.
