Eli Bradley, also known as Patriot, is a superhero in the Marvel Comics universe.
He first appeared in *Young Avengers* #1 (April 2005) as a founding member of the team. Eli is the grandson of Isaiah Bradley, a Black man who was subjected to Super-Soldier Serum experiments similar to those that created Captain America during World War II.
Initially, Eli claimed to have inherited his grandfather's powers and faked superhuman abilities using Mutant Growth Hormone (MGH). However, he eventually received a blood transfusion from his grandfather, granting him genuine, albeit weakened, Super-Soldier abilities, including enhanced strength and agility. As Patriot, he leads the Young Avengers.
