Thomas Shepherd, known as Speed, is a speedster superhero in Marvel Comics. He is one of the twin sons of Scarlet Witch and Vision, magically created and later revealed to have splintered from the soul of Mephisto.
Speed was raised separately from his brother Wiccan, bouncing between foster families. He eventually met Wiccan, and together they discovered their powers and their connection to Scarlet Witch, leading them to join the Young Avengers.
Speed possesses superhuman speed, allowing him to move, think, and react at incredible velocities. He can also generate hyperkinetic vibrations, allowing him to disrupt objects or deliver powerful blows.
As a member of the Young Avengers, Speed fights alongside other young heroes, grappling with his complicated origins and striving to live up to the legacy of his powerful parents. He is known for his impulsive nature and strong bond with his brother, Wiccan.
