Foxy is an animatronic character featured in the Five Nights at Freddy's (FNAF) franchise. He first appears in the original Five Nights at Freddy's game released in 2014.
He is portrayed as an animatronic pirate fox, part of the cast of entertainers at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Foxy's design is intentionally dilapidated and "out of order," with exposed endoskeleton parts, torn fur, and a hook for a hand. He is typically depicted with an eyepatch that can be flipped up, revealing his glowing yellow eye.
In the first game, Foxy resides in Pirate Cove and is unique in his behavior. Rather than wandering the pizzeria, he hides behind a curtain. If the player doesn't monitor him regularly, he will run down the west hall towards the player's office, attempting to jumpscare and end the game.
