Biography:

Tōji Suzuhara is a character from the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. He first appears in Episode 4, "Hedgehog's Dilemma".

Tōji is Shinji Ikari's classmate and initially resents him due to the collateral damage Shinji causes while piloting Evangelion Unit-01, which injures his younger sister. He is portrayed as a strong, compassionate, and often boisterous individual who values his friends deeply.

Later in the series, Tōji is chosen as the pilot of Evangelion Unit-03. His selection and subsequent experiences piloting an Evangelion lead to significant challenges and trauma.
