Mechander Robo is the titular giant robot from the 1977 Japanese anime television series Mechander Robo (メカンダ-ロボ). Piloted by Jimmy Orion, he is humanity's last line of defense against the Gatol Empire, a race of alien invaders.

Jimmy Orion, whose real name is Shikishima Kenji, is a former baseball player who seeks revenge against the Gatol Empire after they destroy his hometown and kill his family. He joins forces with Professor Shikishima (his adopted father) and pilots Mechander Robo alongside the support team consisting of Mika Shikishima, Ryuudo Jimmy and Kousuke.

Mechander Robo itself is a powerful machine composed of three separate vehicles that combine. Its primary weapons include the Mechander Fight, a chest plate missile, and various other projectile and energy-based attacks. He is crucial to the fight against the Gatol and their leader, Emperor Gatol.
