Biography:
Barry Sembène is a supporting character in the Jurassic World film. He's a Velociraptor trainer and animal behaviorist working for InGen Security, and a close colleague of Owen Grady.
Originally based in Paris, Barry was recruited to Jurassic World to assist with the Integrated Behaviorial Raptor Intelligence Study (I.B.R.I.S.) project. He helps Owen with training the raptors Blue, Delta, Echo, and Charlie, and develops a strong, albeit complicated, relationship with them.
During the Indominus rex incident, Barry is stationed at the raptor paddock. When the security team attempts to weaponize the raptors against the Indominus, Barry accompanies them. However, the Indominus, having raptor DNA, is able to turn the pack against their human handlers. Barry survives the encounter, shaken but alive. He later aids in the final battle against the Indominus rex.
