Eitri, portrayed by Peter Dinklage, is a character within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He is a skilled dwarf weaponsmith of Nidavellir, renowned for forging powerful items such as Mjolnir, Thor's hammer.

Eitri's first appearance in the MCU is in Avengers: Infinity War. In the film, Thanos forces Eitri to create the Infinity Gauntlet, a device designed to hold the Infinity Stones. Afterwards, Thanos cripples Eitri's hands and kills his fellow dwarves to prevent him from creating any more weapons.

Thor seeks out Eitri in an attempt to create a new weapon, Stormbreaker, capable of defeating Thanos. Despite his injuries, Eitri helps Thor forge the axe, restoring the star's energy to power the forge.
