Earthworm Jim, the titular character from the 1994 video game Earthworm Jim, is an ordinary earthworm who undergoes an extraordinary transformation.

Jim's life is forever changed when a technologically advanced "super suit" falls to Earth and lands directly on him. This suit, originally created by the scientist Professor Monkey-For-A-Head, grants Jim incredible strength, intelligence, and the ability to walk upright.

Now equipped with the super suit and a powerful plasma gun, Jim embarks on a quest to rescue Princess What's-Her-Name from the villainous Queen Slug-for-a-Butt and her henchmen. His adventures are characterized by surreal landscapes, wacky humor, and challenging platforming.
