Blue Totoro, also known as Chū Totoro (中トトロ) in Japanese, is a supporting character in Hayao Miyazaki's beloved 1988 animated film, My Neighbor Totoro.
He is smaller than the titular Totoro (Ō Totoro) but larger than the smallest, White Totoro (Chibi Totoro). He is depicted as a blue-grey, rotund forest spirit with pointed ears and large, expressive eyes.
