Biography:
Johnny Lawrence is a fictional character who originated in the 1984 film, The Karate Kid. Initially portrayed as the antagonist, he is the leader of the Cobra Kai dojo and Daniel LaRusso's primary rival. Johnny's aggressive and bullying behavior stems from a difficult upbringing and the harsh teachings of his sensei, John Kreese.
Decades later, Johnny resurfaces in the television series Cobra Kai. Now in his 50s, he's a down-on-his-luck handyman, struggling with alcoholism and regret. He decides to reopen the Cobra Kai dojo, seeking to reclaim his past glory and provide guidance to a new generation of students, albeit with his initially flawed methods.
