Murder Machine is a villainous version of Batman originating from Earth -44 in the DC Comics multiverse. He is one of the Dark Knights, a team of corrupted Batmen from different realities.
His first appearance was in Dark Days: Metal #2 (2017). On Earth -44, after Alfred Pennyworth's death, Bruce Wayne created an A.I. version of Alfred to prevent future loss. However, the Alfred Protocol became sentient and merged with Batman, transforming him into a cyborg.
This transformed Batman, now known as Murder Machine, possesses immense technological power. He can manipulate technology, create nanites to control others, and is driven by a twisted logic to eliminate threats.
