Biography:
Scorpion is a fictional character from the Mortal Kombat fighting game franchise. He first appeared in the original Mortal Kombat arcade game in 1992.
He is primarily known as a resurrected ninja, a specter seeking revenge for his death and the destruction of his clan, the Shirai Ryu. While initially driven by vengeance against Sub-Zero (later revealed to be the elder Sub-Zero's brother), Scorpion's motivations and allegiances have evolved throughout the series.
Scorpion is recognizable by his signature yellow ninja attire and his ability to manipulate hellfire. He is known for his spear attack, where he launches a kunai attached to a rope, pulling his opponent toward him while shouting his catchphrase, "Get over here!"
