Biography:
Tyrael is a pivotal character in Blizzard Entertainment's Diablo franchise. Initially introduced as the Archangel of Justice, he is a member of the Angiris Council, the ruling body of the High Heavens.
Throughout the series, Tyrael becomes increasingly sympathetic to humanity's plight in the Eternal Conflict against the Burning Hells. He disagrees with the other angels' view of humanity and believes they deserve a chance to prove themselves.
In Diablo II, Tyrael guides the player characters in their quest to defeat Diablo and Baal. He ultimately destroys the Worldstone to prevent its corruption, an act that has significant consequences for Sanctuary.
