Maxine "Max" Mayfield is a fictional character from the Netflix science fiction horror series, Stranger Things, portrayed by Sadie Sink.
She first appeared in the second season of the TV show, making her debut in the episode "Chapter One: MADMAX" (2017). Max moves to Hawkins, Indiana, with her mother and stepbrother, Billy Hargrove.
