Tyrion Lannister, born in Westeros to Lord Tywin Lannister and Joanna Lannister, is a prominent figure in George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" and its television adaptation, "Game of Thrones." Known as "The Imp" due to his dwarfism, his birth was traumatic, resulting in his mother's death, fostering a strained relationship with his father and sister, Cersei.

Despite societal prejudice, Tyrion possesses exceptional intellect, wit, and political acumen. He served as Hand to the King under Joffrey Baratheon, demonstrating shrewd leadership during the War of the Five Kings. Accused and wrongly convicted of Joffrey's murder, he escapes King's Landing with Varys.

In exile, Tyrion allies himself with Daenerys Targaryen, becoming her advisor and Hand. He provides counsel on Westerosi politics and strategy, significantly impacting her campaign to claim the Iron Throne. Though his advice isn't always heeded, and sometimes backfires, his loyalty to Daenerys remains largely steadfast until her descent into tyranny. Ultimately, Tyrion plays a key role in choosing Bran Stark as the new King, becoming his Hand once again, dedicated to rebuilding a war-torn Westeros.
