Biography:
Sirius Black, introduced in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, is a pivotal character haunted by a past of both privilege and tragedy. Born into the aristocratic, Dark Arts-aligned Black family, Sirius defied expectations by embracing Gryffindor House at Hogwarts and rejecting his family's bigoted beliefs.
He formed a close bond with James Potter, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew, collectively known as the Marauders. Their friendship, though strong, was tested when Peter betrayed James and Lily Potter to Lord Voldemort, leading to their deaths. He becomes a surrogate father figure to Harry, offering guidance and protection, but ultimately meets a tragic end, furthering Harry's own emotional journey.
