Michelle Jones, often referred to as "MJ," is a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). This version of MJ is distinct from Mary Jane Watson in the comic books.

Portrayed by Zendaya, MJ first appears in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), but has a more prominent role in Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019). She is depicted as an intelligent, observant, and somewhat sarcastic classmate of Peter Parker.

Unlike previous incarnations of the character, this MJ is not initially Peter Parker's love interest, though their relationship evolves throughout the MCU Spider-Man films. She possesses a dry wit and a penchant for intellectual pursuits.
