Agent Kallus, first appearing in the Star Wars animated series *Rebels*, is a complex character who undergoes a significant transformation during the Galactic Civil War. Initially a dedicated agent of the Imperial Security Bureau (ISB), Kallus serves as a prominent antagonist to the growing rebel alliance, particularly the crew of the *Ghost*.

Kallus is a skilled fighter and tactician, fiercely loyal to the Empire and its ideals. He is responsible for numerous operations aimed at crushing rebel cells and maintaining Imperial control. He demonstrates ruthless efficiency in his pursuit of the rebels, often engaging in direct combat and employing harsh interrogation techniques.

Over time, however, Kallus experiences a moral awakening. Interactions with the rebels, particularly his forced partnership with Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios after being stranded on a desolate moon, challenge his beliefs. He begins to question the Empire's methods and its impact on the galaxy. Ultimately, disillusioned with the Empire's brutality, Kallus defects to the rebellion, becoming the anonymous informant known as "Fulcrum" and providing vital intelligence to the rebel cause.
