Emil Blonsky, better known as the Abomination, is a powerful villain in the Marvel Universe, primarily an adversary of the Hulk. Born in Zagreb, Yugoslavia, Blonsky was a KGB agent known for his ruthlessness and effectiveness.

His transformation into the Abomination occurred when he deliberately exposed himself to a gamma radiation dosage similar to the one that created the Hulk. However, the dosage was far greater and different, resulting in a permanent and monstrous form. Unlike the Hulk, Blonsky retained his intellect and tactical prowess after his transformation.

The Abomination possesses immense strength, speed, and durability rivaling or surpassing the Hulk's, especially due to the permanently enhanced nature of his transformation. His reptilian hide provides considerable protection against physical and energy attacks. While formidable, he is often driven by a desire to surpass the Hulk, fueled by resentment and envy.

Over the years, the Abomination has been involved in numerous conflicts, often serving as a pawn for various sinister organizations. He represents a recurring threat, embodying the dangers of unchecked ambition and the corrupting influence of power.
