The Super Battle Droid, designated B2, is a heavily armored and more powerful upgrade of the standard B1 Battle Droid utilized by the Separatist Droid Army during the Clone Wars. Manufactured by Baktoid Combat Automata, the B2 design emphasized brute strength and firepower over the B1's swarming tactics.

Distinguishable by their bulkier metallic grey frames, Super Battle Droids possessed significantly enhanced durability, able to withstand blaster fire that would easily destroy a standard B1 unit. Their integrated wrist-mounted cannons and rocket launchers provided substantial offensive capabilities, making them formidable opponents on the battlefield.

Unlike the B1's often comical artificial intelligence, the B2 Super Battle Droid boasted a more sophisticated combat programming, allowing for greater tactical flexibility and independent action. Despite their improvements, they were still susceptible to overwhelming numbers and strategic weaknesses, often falling victim to Jedi Knights and skilled Clone Troopers.
