Peter Porker, the Spectacular Spider-Ham, hails from Earth-8311. He is an anthropomorphic pig who gained spider-like abilities.

His origin story involves May Porker, a scientist who accidentally irradiated herself with a hairdryer. Dazed and confused, she bit Peter, who was then a regular spider. This transformed him into the pig-like hero he is today.

Spider-Ham became popular, starring in his own comic book series called *Peter Porker, the Spectacular Spider-Ham* which began in 1985.
