Jodo Kast was a Mandalorian mercenary active during the Galactic Civil War era. He rose to prominence by falsely claiming to be the bounty hunter Boba Fett. Using a modified suit of Mandalorian armor nearly identical to Fett's, Kast capitalized on Fett's fearsome reputation to secure lucrative contracts.
His charade was successful for a time, allowing him to amass wealth and build a significant reputation. However, Kast's skills ultimately didn't match his pretense. While a competent fighter, he lacked Fett's ruthlessness, tactical acumen, and experience.
Eventually, the real Boba Fett confronted Kast. The exact circumstances of their encounter varied across different accounts in the Star Wars Legends continuity.
