Biography:
Throg, also known as Frog Thor, is a character in Marvel Comics. His real name is Simon Walterson, a human who was once a star college football quarterback. After suffering a career-ending injury, he sought solace in witchcraft.
His life took a bizarre turn when a Romani witch, angered by his misuse of magic and refusal to pay for her services, transformed him into a frog. As a frog, he retained his human intellect and a sense of bitterness.
Throg eventually encountered a sliver of Thor's hammer, Mjolnir, which had been chipped off during a battle. Upon lifting the shard, he was granted the powers of Thor, becoming Throg, the Frog of Thunder. He wields a miniature version of Mjolnir, known as Frogjolnir.
Though initially reluctant, Throg has become a heroic figure in his own right, joining the Pet Avengers and defending his amphibian brethren. He possesses strength and abilities similar to Thor, albeit on a smaller scale, making him a unique and unexpected hero in the Marvel Universe.
