Ocean Master is a DC Comics character, primarily known as a recurring adversary of Aquaman.
Created by Bob Haney and Nick Cardy, Ocean Master first appeared in Aquaman #29 (September 1966). He is typically depicted as Orm Marius, Aquaman's human half-brother. Driven by jealousy and a thirst for power, he frequently plots to overthrow Aquaman and seize control of Atlantis and/or the surface world.
Ocean Master's abilities often include enhanced strength, control over water, and the use of magical artifacts or advanced Atlantean technology to achieve his goals. His motivations stem from feelings of inadequacy and resentment towards Aquaman's rightful claim to the throne.
