CT-9904, nicknamed "99," was a maintenance clone on Kamino during the Clone Wars. He was born with physical defects, leaving him unable to serve as a soldier. Instead, he worked as a janitor and provided invaluable support to the clone cadets.

Despite his limitations, 99 possessed a sharp mind and a strong moral compass. He often offered guidance and encouragement to the young clones, reminding them of their individuality and worth beyond their designated numbers and combat roles. He deeply admired the soldiers, seeing them as brothers despite his own inability to fight alongside them.

99 played a pivotal role in defending Kamino during a Separatist attack. He helped arm and equip clone cadets, using his knowledge of the facility to guide them. He was tragically killed while retrieving weapons for the cadets, sacrificing himself to ensure their survival. His actions inspired the cadets and proved that even those deemed "defective" could be heroes. His name was honored by the Bad Batch in his memory.
