Biography:

Doraemon is a fictional robotic cat character originally created by Fujiko Fujio. He first appeared in December 1969 in six different manga magazines.

Doraemon is sent from the 22nd century by Sewashi Nobi to aid his ancestor, Nobita Nobi. Nobita is a perpetually unlucky and underachieving boy.

Doraemon possesses a four-dimensional pocket from which he produces numerous futuristic gadgets to help Nobita with his problems. These gadgets often lead to humorous and sometimes problematic situations.

The Doraemon manga series has been adapted into a successful and long-running anime TV series, various animated films, and video games, making Doraemon a cultural icon in Japan and internationally.
