Aunt May, full name May Parker, is a central character in the Spider-Man mythos, primarily known for her role as Peter Parker's loving and supportive aunt. Her first appearance was in Amazing Fantasy #15 (August 1962).
Following the death of Peter's parents, May and her husband Ben took on the responsibility of raising him. After Ben's death, May became Peter's sole guardian and confidante. She is characterized by her gentle nature, unwavering faith in Peter, and constant worry for his well-being.
