Grey Worm, born Torgo Nudho, is a fictional character from George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire book series and its HBO adaptation, Game of Thrones. He is a commander of the Unsullied, an elite eunuch soldier force renowned for their discipline and combat prowess.
As a slave soldier in Astapor, Torgo Nudho endured brutal training and forced castration, losing his name and being renamed Grey Worm. Daenerys Targaryen, upon liberating Astapor, purchases the Unsullied and abolishes the slave trade. Impressed by his loyalty and leadership, she entrusts Grey Worm with commanding the Unsullied army, who become fiercely devoted to her cause.
Grey Worm's unwavering loyalty and tactical skills make him an invaluable asset to Daenerys throughout her campaigns in Essos and Westeros. He develops a close bond with Missandei, a trusted advisor to Daenerys, and they form a romantic relationship.
