Missandei, portrayed by Nathalie Emmanuel, was a prominent character in HBO's Game of Thrones. She was originally a slave from the island of Naath, known for its peaceful inhabitants and immunity to many diseases. Missandei was highly intelligent and fluent in numerous languages, skills that led to her being a scribe and translator in Astapor.
