Titania, whose real name is Mary MacPherran, is a Marvel Comic villain. She first appeared in Secret Wars #3 (1984) during the Bronze Age of comics.
Originally a small, timid woman, Mary felt insecure and often fabricated stories about herself to appear tougher. During the Secret Wars event, she and her friend Marsha Rosenberg were granted superhuman powers by Doctor Doom. MacPherran gained immense strength, durability, and increased muscle mass, transforming her into the formidable Titania.
Titania quickly embraced her new powers and adopted the name Titania. She became a frequent adversary of She-Hulk, forming a long-standing rivalry. She is often associated with other powerful villains, particularly her husband, Carl "Crusher" Creel, also known as Absorbing Man.
