Dagger, also known as Tandy Bowen, is a Marvel character associated with the superhero duo Cloak & Dagger. She first appeared in Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man #64 (1982).
Dagger possesses the ability to generate "light daggers" composed of pure light energy. She can project these daggers with accuracy and use them to drain life energy from others, purging them of harmful substances or ailments. These daggers also allow her to cleanse Cloak of the dark energies he absorbs.
Orphaned at a young age, Tandy Bowen ran away from home and eventually met Tyrone Johnson (Cloak). They were both abducted and experimented on with a synthetic drug that awakened their mutant abilities. They then worked together to take down those that abused them.
