Agent Venom is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics. While initially rooted in the comics, his presence hasn't been significantly developed in film or television.

The Agent Venom mantle is most famously associated with Flash Thompson. Eugene "Flash" Thompson, a high school bully turned war veteran, bonded with the Venom symbiote, a creature known for its association with Spider-Man.

Flash, now missing his legs due to injuries sustained in battle, was selected for a top-secret government program utilizing the symbiote. This bonded pairing became a super-soldier.

As Agent Venom, he served in various covert operations. His powers granted him enhanced strength, agility, and the ability to create weapons and tendrils from the symbiote. His first appearance as Agent Venom was in *The Amazing Spider-Man* #654 in 2011.
