James McCullen Destro XXIV, often simply called Destro, is a prominent antagonist from the G.I. Joe franchise.
He is the head of M.A.R.S. (Military Armaments Research Syndicate), a major weapons manufacturer supplying arms to both sides of various conflicts, most notably to Cobra. Destro maintains a sense of honor and professionalism, often clashing with Cobra Commander's more chaotic methods.
