Biography:
Raditz is a character featured in the anime and manga series Dragon Ball Z. He is the older brother of Goku, the main protagonist, and also the son of Bardock and Gine. He is a Saiyan warrior who travels to Earth to recruit Goku to join him and Vegeta in conquering planets for Frieza.
Raditz is portrayed as arrogant and cruel, viewing humans as weak and insignificant. He possesses considerable strength and speed, able to easily defeat Piccolo and Goku initially. However, he is ultimately defeated in a joint effort by Goku and Piccolo, resulting in his death.
Raditz makes his first appearance in the first episode of Dragon Ball Z, titled "The Arrival of Raditz". His arrival marks a turning point in the series, revealing Goku's Saiyan heritage and setting the stage for the arrival of stronger adversaries.
