Zamasu is a powerful character from the Dragon Ball franchise, first appearing in the "Future Trunks Saga" of Dragon Ball Super, which is considered part of the broader Dragon Ball Z narrative.
Originally a North Kai apprentice from Universe , Zamasu harbored a deep distrust and hatred for mortals, believing them to be inherently violent and unworthy of existence. This animosity stemmed from witnessing their destructive tendencies and perceived lack of progress.
Driven by his twisted sense of justice, Zamasu sought to eradicate all mortals and create a perfect universe populated only by gods. He achieved this through various means, including stealing Goku's body (becoming Goku Black) and partnering with his future self to execute his "Zero Mortal Plan".
Zamasu's unwavering conviction and immense power made him a formidable antagonist, posing a significant threat to the universe and forcing Goku and his allies to resort to drastic measures to stop him.
