Maurice is a supporting character in the animated series, The Penguins of Madagascar. He serves as the loyal right-hand to King Julien XIII, the self-proclaimed "King of the Lemurs".

Unlike King Julien, who is often eccentric and illogical, Maurice is portrayed as more grounded and pragmatic. He frequently acts as Julien's advisor, offering sensible counsel which is often ignored. Despite Julien's dismissive attitude and demanding behavior, Maurice remains devoted, highlighting his patience and unwavering loyalty.

Physically, Maurice is an aye-aye, a type of lemur known for its distinctive long, thin middle finger. This physical trait is occasionally used for comedic effect in the show. He is voiced by Danny Jacobs.

His character provides a balance to Julien's wild antics, making him an integral part of the show's comedic dynamic and overall narrative.
