Kung Fu Panda

Kai is the main antagonist of the film Kung Fu Panda 3. He is a powerful yak warrior from the Spirit Realm with a deep-seated history tied to Master Oogway.

Centuries prior to the film's events, Kai and Oogway were brothers in arms. They fought together and learned how to heal others using Chi. However, Kai grew obsessed with acquiring more and more Chi, leading him to steal it from others to enhance his own power.

Oogway was forced to banish Kai to the Spirit Realm after Kai became corrupted by his lust for Chi. There, Kai spent centuries defeating and absorbing the Chi of fallen masters, transforming them into jade statues under his control.

Kai eventually returns to the mortal realm, seeking to destroy Oogway's legacy and claim all the Chi in the world for himself. He is ultimately defeated by Po, who masters the ability to share Chi with others and overpowers Kai in the Spirit Realm.
